Warren Haynes and his manager/wife Stefani Scamardo are relaunching their record label, Evil Teen Records, with RED Distribution. It's a three year deal and will operate like a standard distribution deal with Evil Teen responsible for A&R, Production, Manufacturing, Marketing and Promotion. RED will handle all Sales and Retail Marketing. Evil Teen has a team of eight in-house staff members and will hire indies for radio, press, online media and retail consulting.

Bob Morelli, Executive Vice President and General Manager, RED Distribution: "Warren is an amazing musician, vocalist and songwriter. He provides amazing content - and lots of it. Stef provides the tenacity and heart that brings these projects to fruition. She is as much of a force behind the scenes as Warren is on stage. It's a perfect balance of creative artistic energy coupled with creative business intelligence. I couldn't be more excited and pleased to enter into a partnership with Warren, Stefani, and Evil Teen."

Stefani Scamardo, Evil Teen Records and Hard Head Management Principle: "Having come from a major label background and being a young A&R person it was a dream 10 years ago to start my own label. Evil Teen is looking forward to new artist signings and is actively looking for new and established artists. The partnership with RED, which I consider to be the best independent distributer in the country, takes Evil Teen to whole new level."

Warren Haynes, Legendary Musician and Evil Teen Records Principle: "We've been stockpiling wonderful recordings and video over the years, including the Benefit Concert Series, which are recorded at the Christmas Jam each year. I am excited to release them on our own label and I am thrilled to have RED as our distributor."

Warren Haynes, a seven time Grammy nominee, was recently declared the 23rd greatest guitar player of all time by Rolling Stone Magazine. The cross genre songwriter/signer/guitar player has written songs topping the charts in Rock, Blues & Country, including one of the biggest selling singles of all-time, Garth Brooks' "Two of a Kind, Working on A Full House." While juggling the hectic schedule of fronting the rock bands Gov't Mule, The Allman Brothers Band & The Dead, Warren has found the time to record and share the stage with the likes of Bob Dylan, Metallica's James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett, Jason Newstead, Kid Rock, Peter Frampton, Everlast, Dave Matthews, Incubus, Phish, Taj Mahal, Ben Harper, Blues Traveler, Little Milton, Les Claypool, Bonnie Raitt and countless others. Gov't Mule is now on tour supporting their brand new critically acclaimed release "High & Mighty", which debuted #1 on the Online Sales Chart. Some tour highlights including headlining Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, CO, The Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles, CA, The Riviera Theatre in Chicago, IL and Three Nights at The Beacon Theatre in New York, NY.

Stefani Scamardo's start in the music business business, a career she knew she wanted ever since she came to grips with the fact that she wasn't going to be a drummer in a rock band or the goalie on the women's olympic soccer team (which didn't even exist yet), came 17 years ago at Island Records where she started an an intern. Over the course of her 5 years with the company she worked her way through the ranks of the A&R department scouting new talent, managing recording projects, and overseeing remixes for legendary acts including U2, Melissa Etheridge, PJ Harvey and Tom Waits.

She left Island in 1994 to start her own management company, Hard Head Management & Productions, where over the course of the next decade she would sign Gov't Mule, Warren Haynes, Chris Robinson, The Bottle Rockets, Living Colour, DJ Logic, John Popper and many more. Two years later, believing that good A&R and exhaustive artist development were the cornerstones of a successful record label, she co-founded Evil Teen Records with Warren Haynes. Evil Teen, was home to such integrity artists as Kevn Kinney and Dolly Varden and released the critically acclaimed Drum and Bass compilations "Versatility" and "The United States of Drum & Bass."

Stefani has recently received many Executive Producer credits including Phil Lesh & Friends' debut record "There and Back Again," Gov't Mule's Grammy nominated Deep End projects and the Mike Gordon (Phish) directed documentary "Rising Low," which won the Newport Film Festival Audience Award for Best Documentary. In addition to her work with her clients, Stefani does freelance A&R for various major and indie labels, and consults labels and independent producers on records, compilations, and tours. She also has produced exciting concert and charity events including Mountain Jam, Rockin' The Burro, and Warren Haynes Presents: The Christmas Jam which, to date, has raised over half a million dollars for Habitat For Humanity.

In addition to her management and label head duties, Stefani is a popular on-air radio personality as the host of her own radio show which can be heard nationally on Sirius Satellite Radio's Jam On 17 daily from noon-6pm. On her show, she's interviewed the Grateful Dead, Gov't Mule, Allman Brothers Band, Widespread Panic, Michael Franti, and Robert Randolph to just name a few.
